About the event

The 27th Autumn Gastronomy of Lake Maggiore and Valleys takes place while the trees change colour and the smell of roasted chestnuts fills the streets. During these culinary weeks, the kitchens of the Ascona-Locarno region prepare traditional dishes with fresh ingredients from the local woods and valleys.

Autumn offers a wide choice of local products, which restaurants and grotti in the region turn into dishes.

The event grew out of a collaboration between Tipografia Bassi Locarno and Ascona-Locarno Turismo. It involves more than 20 restaurants and a wide range of specialities.
