About the event
The Foliage Train (Treno del Foliage) is a seasonal scenic rail journey through the autumn landscapes of the Centovalli and the Valle Vigezzo. Golden woods, red and orange tones, alpine views and villages set in nature mark the trip.
In less than two hours, the line crosses gorges, bridges, forests and characteristic villages, along one of the most striking railway routes between Switzerland and Italy.
Tickets are available online or at the FART ticket office in Locarno. Because of high demand, travelling on weekdays, Monday to Friday, is strongly recommended where possible.
