About the event
This outing takes the Ferrovia Vigezzina-Centovalli to Santa Maria Maggiore, along a scenic route through gorges, woods, bridges and characteristic villages. The centrepiece of the day is a workshop at the Casa del Profumo, a place tied to the history of Acqua di Colonia (eau de Cologne).
The workshop offers an introduction to the art of perfume, the creation of a personalised fragrance, and a closer look at the history of Acqua di Colonia and its inventors. It is a sensory experience built around fragrances, and you take your own creation home with you.
The workshop costs EUR 35 on top of the train fare. Booking the workshop is required.
